Do not eat, drink, smoke, brush your teeth, or chew gum for 30 minutes before collecting your saliva sample.​
Important: After submitting the order form, you will receive a Sample ID number via email. Please remember to write your Sample ID number and Date of Birth in ink on the outside of the test tube. DO NOT write your name to keep your test confidential.

Box contents: Pre-paid return package, One sample tube pre-filled with 2 ml of stabilizing solution, One funnel, and an instructions sheet.

Before use: Remove the pre-filled tube and collection funnel from the pack. Check that the level of the liquid in the tube is at the 2ml line.
1. Funnel setup

Unscrew the cap from the tube being careful not to spill the liquid already inside.

Place cap on a flat surface.
​

Screw the collection funnel on the tube gently. Do not over-tighten.
3. Replace cap, discard funnel

Unscrew the collection funnel and replace the tube cap tightly.
​

Discard the funnel.
2. Spit into the funnel to 4 ml

Start spitting into the funnel. Tip: If saliva does not flow easily into the tube, unscrew the funnel partially.

Continue spitting into the funnel until the level of liquid in the tube reaches the 4ml line, not including bubbles.
4. Shake well

Shake the collection tube several times to mix the saliva with the solution.

Important: Remember to write your Sample ID # that was emailed when you submitted the order form and Date of Birth in ink.
